Just had an appointment to the Apple store at Chermside, my appointment was for 10:50 I was there on time and asked to wait at an iPad table. I was there because I had dropped my ipad2 and had smashed the screen, after reading some encouraging reviews I thought they may replace it given that it was only 4 months old. Instead I was made to wait until 11:20 a 30 min wait,then Ben finally came to answer my questions hey neither apologized for being late or even seemed to care about the fact that my new iPad was smashed! Hey told me that structural damage was tough and they would not do anything other than offer to fix it for $ 350. I work in a business that just bought its 5th iPad in 4 months and even brought in the receipts to show him how loyal we were in buying so many. As soon as he found out I was in business he just said claim it on insurance (business excees is expensive so wrong option) he then was more interested in flicking me off to the business department to sell me more I think. In summary the whole exercise was pathetic long wait, long drive, rude service and no sence of service and caring to speak of am really angry I though apple were so good with customer service this was one of the worst customer support experiences ever, cheers apple.
